LED Light Bars

The original light bars consisted of a simple metal bar with rotating beacons inside, as well as some other components, which were placed on the roof of a vehicle. This has now been updated to a single unit, complete, off-the-shelf light bar, most commonly utilizing LED lighting. LED has become the standard choice primarily due to its brightness. The lights are generally between 1 and 3 watts, the more watts, the brighter the lights. As an emergency responder, your vehicle must be highly visible in all weather conditions so that you stay safe and can reach the crisis are as quickly as possible. For this reason, it is the brightness that will determine how effective the lightbar will be to keep you and others on the road safe.

Light Bar Sizes

We stock both full-sized lightbars as well as mini light bars. To choose the right size, you need to determine how you plan to use the bar and on which vehicle you will mount it. A full-sized light bar is generally mounted with brackets along the full width of the roof and is permanently fixed to the vehicle. This one is commonly used on police cars. A mini lightbar, however, usually mounts with magnets and is therefore easily transferrable. Common uses include private security vehicles, construction vehicles and golf carts.

LED Colors

LED lightbars are fully customizable so you can choose the colors and light patterns you need. Choose between a combination of amber, blue, clear, green, or red lights. Some light bars also include optional take down LED's, built in traffic advisor lights and alley lights.

TIR vs LIN Optics

Some LED's use TIR optics for a straight-focused beam, whilst others use linear (LIN) optics for a wider beam.

Use LED light bars for vivid, bright and attention grabbing warning lights, which are also energy efficient and durable. Get to your destination quickly and safely using our emergency vehicle LEDs.
